Creative Direction + Production Management
As Creative Director on the build team, I’ve spent the past four years shaping the identity and experience of Shabang, a 10,000-person music and arts festival in San Luis Obispo. My role has spanned the design and execution of large-scale scenic builds, the development of immersive spaces like the Silent Disco, and the overall creative direction of the festival’s 42-acre footprint.
From stage architecture and art installations to site planning and audience flow, I’ve overseen the transformation of Shabang into a fully immersive cultural experience. Each year’s design approach builds upon the last, blending live music with bold visual environments to create a festival that feels both grassroots and highly produced.
